The good, the bad, and the ugly: The good

Pascal Yen was nice, loving, caring, and sweet. Star liked him but not in a romantic way. He was like the big brother she never had. He was her best friend. But after he abducted her, she loathed him.
Star was coming back from work one night when someone grabbed her. She tried to defend herself, but the person was too strong and she couldn’t struggle anymore. Afterward, she blacked out, waking up in a dark room. She saw pictures of herself hung on the wall. She saw pictures of herself laughing, crying, and of even when she was upset! From the moment she learned he was her abductor, she hated him. She hated him so much that when he talked, she insulted and mocked him.
Star needed to escape. One day, she waited for him to leave the house before putting her plan to action. She faked a smile and waved him goodbye as he left. As soon as he was out of the area, she fled, running into the woods. She didn’t know where she was or where she was going. No bags. No money. She was hoping to see a vehicle on the way. If only she knew where she were, it would have been easier for her.
Coming out of the woods, she jumped into the middle of the road. She looked left and saw a car moving towards her. She froze. The car stopped. It didn’t hit her. She opened her eyes, shivering, and she saw him. Pascal. His stare was frightening. He shoved her into the car and drove home.
He pushed her into the house, pulling her by the hair to her room. He shoved her on the bed. She crawled up to the corner of the bed, crying. Eyes red, shivering, and regretting. She watched him stare at her with a smile on his face.
“Why did you choose to be naughty today? Hmm?” He said. What scared Star then was the smile on his face.
He continued to speak, saying, “You shouldn’t have tried escaping, Star. Now, you’d lose something so you wouldn’t try to escape next time.” He brought a knife out of his pocket, still smiling. Star wanted to beg but couldn’t because her voice was hoarse, and she felt like she couldn’t breathe.
Pascal clasped her hand, placing the knife on her thumb. She struggled, begged, and cried. Then she let out a loud scream as her thumb fell off and blood oozed from the opening. Pascal shushed her and wrapped his arms around her, saying sorry and that he loved her very much.
